Kirk Hendricks was a three sport letterman in high school (football, basketball, and track) and noted as a Team Captain. He received All-State honors as a defensive back and Running back at Pulaski County High School, two time winner of the WDBJ-7 player of the week, plus receiving the most valuable player award from his high school.

Kirk has over ten years experience coaching both college and high school.  Kirk attended Concord University in West Virginia, where he was an All-American mentioned, All conference DB-WVIAC, and received many awards while there.  Kirk was mentored by the late Duke Stragger and then went on to coach at Christiansburg High School as a Defensive Back Coach and Coordinator. Later, he became Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Auburn school.

Kirk is a certified Law Enforcement Officer, with  17 years experience as an Officer in the State of Virginia.  Kirk is a lifetime member of Showers Of Blessing Church of God In Christ. Kirk and his wife, Roberta are the proud parents of three children; Kaleb, Kory, and Kyle.
